A Review Of The US Army Padded Bar Stool
The U.S. Army Padded Bar Stool is the perfect addition to
your bar or game room and the perfect way to show your
patriotism. There are many features on this bar stool that
include padding, adjustable levers, chrome plated, and more.
The U.S. Army logo is placed on the top of this bar stool.
People favor these bar stools and if you have a lot of
customers who are United States Veterans then these are the
perfect bar stools for your clientele. They add class to
your bar and they show your patriotism to your country.
Your customers also can enjoy padding when they sit on a bar
stool now. These stools have a vinyl seat with comfortable
padding. Unlike most bar stools that are uncomfortable to
sit on and people often have to get up and walk around or
leave because it hurts to sit for too long. Your customers
will be happy that they can sit in a comfortable chair. This
shows your customers that you care about them and their
comfort. They will know they are appreciated.
Another feature on this bar stool is that it has adjustable
levers. This means you can adjust the height of the stools
to fit perfectly under your bar. You don't have to worry
about the stools being too high or too low because you can
adjust them. It is nice having adjustable bar stools because
you can have different heights for your stools for short and
tall people.
The chrome plated double round base on this bar stool
provides for the ultimate durability. You don't have to
worry about the stools getting tore up because the chrome is
heavy duty. It is common for customers to kick around the
bar stools and knock them over on the floor. You might have
had to replace bar stools repeatedly in the past but you
won't have to replace these continuously like you did
before.
The chrome double base provides for a sturdy stool and they
are perfect for any bar and the rowdiest of customers.
People often put their feet up on the bars knocking the bars
loose. This isn't something that you can control when your
bar is full of customers so it is nice to know the bar on
the stools is strong enough to handle customers resting
their feet on them.
If you have a game room in your home or you own a bar and
you are looking for the perfect bar stool to accent the area
then you should consider the U.S. Army padded bar stools.

The Future of The United States Military – The Robot Army
How many of you have watched the film Iron Man? In the film
we saw what I would describe as Iron Man in the form of a
type of robot, big powerful and virtually indestructible.
Well people this could well be the future of our western
armies, a fighting force where our soldiers are not men but
are instead machines controlled by humans.
Many Americans as well as men and women from other countries
have died in Iraq and Afghanistan over the last few years.
This disgusts and saddens the people from the countries
involved and also frustrates their governments. The nation
can then soon become angry at the powers at be who can then
start to lose control. The way forward has to be a robot
army with the back up of a small civilian army.
On the news tonight another two American robots are
destroyed in a roadside bomb in Iraq! OK, whatever, who
cares? Let's face it there would be no more roadside bombs,
would an opposing army also want to ambush a set of robots?
I do not think so.
Computer war gaming is extremely popular in the western
world and this is exactly what it would be like. Robots
masterly controlled by these expert war gamers would go into
dangerous war zones to smoke out the enemy. Once the initial
danger is over human soldiers would then go and clean up
etc.
A robot that is shot in the head or stomach can keep moving
forward, unlike a human soldier. A robot can stand heat, the
cold, water without discomfort. A robot does not require a
back pack full of essentials and does not need expensive
protective clothing.
Western countries can afford the cost, the cost of war is
vast in any case and there should be no expense spared in an
effort to save the lives of our men and women.
The future is bright, the future is robots.

Rutgers Vs Army
Rutgers had something else to celebrate after the game was
over against Army. Mike Teel, senior QB, became the Rutgers
Scarlet Knight's leading passer. He passed for 359 yards in
the game against the Army Black Knights. Since Rutgers won
against Army, they became bowl eligible for the fourth
straight season. They had to win five games in a row in
order to become bowl eligible. Teel has just over 8,600
yards in passing for his career. Kenny Britt, a junior WR,
had just under 200 yards receiving in the game against Army.
This was his career-high.
Rutgers scored their first touchdown, not by the offense,
but by the defense. Army had the opening possession and
Zaire Kitchen, a junior DB, caused Army's quarterback Chip
Bowden to fumble the ball. Joe Lefeged, a sophomore DB,
recovered the ball and ran it back the other way 58 yards
for Rutger's first TD of the game. That touchdown came
within the game's first 2 minutes. That seemed to set the
tone for the game.
Kitchen had fumbled the ball three times in the last four
games. Each of the miscues resulted in a touchdown for
Rutgers.
Rutgers kicked a field goal two possession later. The 32
yard field goal was made after his 40 yard attempt the
possession before was missed. It probably had something to
do with the wind because it was swirling and picking up as
he attempted the first field goal.
The Scarlet Knights marched down field on six plays for 71
yards and another touchdown. With that touchdown, they led
17-0. Britt ran for 16 yards to start that drive. He later
caught two passes. Teel threw passes to Shamar Graves, a
sophomore TE, for 26 yards. That was Graves' second
touchdown.
Rutgers went into halftime 23 to 0. Prior to the half, Te
kicked a 39 yard field goal as well as a 27 yard field goal.
That lead appeared insurmountable and it proved to be true.
Rutgers didn't need to score any more points in the second
half.
Rutgers continued scoring though in the second half. They
went 82 yards on seven plays after halftime. The drive was
capped off by a 19 yard touchdown run. Tim Brown, a junior
WR, was the one who ran it in and gave the Scarlet Knights a
bigger lead. During the drive, Teel made four passes for 60
yards. This led Rutgers into the red zone. Brown made it
30-0 as he scored his first ever rushing TD.
Army scored their first points of the game (a field goal)
late in the third quarter. Matthew Campbell made a 24 yard
field goal with just under 3 minutes left in the quarter to
make the score 30-3. Rutgers' defense held up and didn't
allow Army any more points on the scoreboard. Army couldn't
move the ball on their final three possessions.
Rutgers will play their final game on Thursday, December 4
as they host rival Louisville. This is a
nationally-televised game on ESPN. Rutgers improved to 6-5
on the year. They pretty much needed that win because
there's no guarantee they will beat Louisville. Even though
it's senior night, it's better to have become bowl eligible
rather than needing the final win to do so.
Rutgers has won eight straight games against New York teams.
During that eight game winning streak, they have outscored
those New York teams 268-62.

Companies Take Part in Army Spouse Employment Partnership
In 2002, then Army Chief of Staff Gen. Eric K. Shinseki,
created a special program called the Army Spouse Employment
Partnership to create career opportunities for military
spouses. The program is a partnership between the public
sector and private corporations; over the last six years
more than 41,000 jobs have been created for military
spouses.
One of the latest private corporations to join the program
is Converges, a global leader in relationship management,
who announced its plans to help Army wives and husbands find
employment.
Convergys human resources will work with the program to
reach out to Army spouse at Convergys' 81 contact centers.
The company also plans to aggressively use the Web to inform
spouses about the job opportunities at the company.
"Hiring military spouses makes good business sense and fits
very well into Convergys' commitment to global talent
management, and that's why we didn't hesitate to join Army
Spouse Employment Partnership," said Clark Handy, Convergys
Senior Vice President, Human Resources. "Military spouses
represent a talented and diverse workforce of people who are
often concentrated on or near US military bases around the
world and whose exceptional work ethic and low attrition
rate speak volumes about the high quality of work they can
provide."
Convergys joins 27 other companies, along with Black &
Veatch Corporation, EMC Corporation, Lowe's Corporation and
West Corporation who signed up to help this past October.
This past year approximately 8,000 Army spouses were helped
with jobs, which is a significant contribution as the nation
struggles through a recession.
Military spouses, because of the unique circumstances of the
military lifestyle, have a harder time in general achieving
the kinds of educational and career goals that civilians
can. Military spouses, who are enrolled at a school near the
base, may have to disrupt or discontinue their schooling
when their military spouse is transferred to another duty
station of state.
Although congress and state legislators have begun to
address the issue, many military spouses who move to a new
state are not eligible to receive in-state tuition rates,
making the cost of education unaffordable. One important
solution already available for military spouses is online
education.
The advantage of distance learning for military spouses is
that they can enroll in a program, and continue studying no
matter where the military family is transferred. Many online
training programs are also self-paced, which means that
students often have up to one year to complete a course or
program.
This would allow, for example, a military spouse to take two
months off while he or she moves with their family to a new
duty station in another state. As soon as the family is
settled in their new home, the spouse can get right back
online and resume studies.
In addition to eliminating the whole issue of in-state
tuition rates, online education also allows military spouses
with children to study without leaving the home. Military
spouses can study during nap times, at night or on the
weekend; distance learning allows military spouse to be both
parents and students.
